Opening its doors at 715 N. Mantua Street in 2007, the Skullz Salon has kept clients coming back while attracting new customers with its unique atmosphere and colorful hairstyles. The salon has since moved to a new location at 125 S. Water Street, but has maintained the punk rock style that sets it apart from traditional beauty salons. Angelique Manns, Skullz Salon owner and stylist, said she started the business because she wanted to work somewhere she could be herself. Manns added that the salon offers both traditional and non-traditional styles.
