Monica Honeycutt: A Woman at Work

Monica Honeycutt is a doula. This means she's by a woman's side in labor and delivery to help her have a positive birth experience. Monica teaches and encourages women during pregnancy, which helps them to make educated choices during pregnancy, labor and post-partum. Monica's role is to provide support for women when they need it the most.

Atije Booth, an alumna of Kent State, chose to have her second child at home with a midwife, and Monica Honeycutt as her doula.
